I recently asked if it is possible to enable Pedal map for non-trophy Clio 4 RS (200 EDC).
I decided to try and enable it my self because I noticed that a Clio Trophy had all bytes set (01) and mine had byte 8 unset (00).
Steps I did:
1. open and connect ddt4all
2. X98 Clio IV -> Navigation MFD 4.6 -> 14 ECU
3. change in RS Slot 1 byte number 8 (following ebt25's findings) shown underlined below (you can copy the entire string in notepad or navigate that textbox with arrow keys)
4. enable expert mode and write config
5. 11 ECU reset
6. enable expert mode and RESET HARD (
*DO NOT* RESET CONFIGURATION)
Once the unit restarted I went into RS monitor , Car setup and voila, Pedal map enabled. (
Obviously I got so excited I got back in the house to post this so I don't know yet if it actually changes the pedal map :)) it works as expected. without this car is hardcoded with extreme which is too jerky if you like pops but drive through city traffic )
So here is a small correction to ebt25's post about these flags:
